Next Steps are reliable, practical ways to keep moving forward in faith, so that over time your personal walk with Jesus and the shared life of the church become deeper, stronger, and more fruitful.
Grounded in Christ
Living the “One Life” begins with being rooted and grounded in a relationship with Jesus. We encourage everyone, new and longtime believers alike, to go through our Rooted discipleship experience to grow deeper in your faith with a group of people seeking to do the same.
Growing in Community
A relationship with Jesus is not just about “me and God,” but “we and God!” God intends for us to be united together in fellowship as One. There are several key ways for you to be intentional about this:
Attend our weekend church services in Sarasota regularly to worship, learn, serve and fellowship together regularly
Join a One Life Group where you can go deeper in study, fellowship and growing with a group of people who know and love you.
Mentor relationships will be a distinctive feature of One Life Church in Sarasota. We are building a culture and process for believers to mentor others in our church and in our community. Target Launch: January 2027!
Going on Mission
The health and growth of a church requires us to be intentional about looking beyond ourselves to serve others, within and outside the walls of our church. We are called to serve to strengthen the church body we are part of (Ephesians 4). We are also called to “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28) as we share our faith with other people:
