One Life Church History

After planting and Pastoring 180 Life Church in West Hartford, CT, for 18 years, Bill, his wife Rebecca, and their three daughters returned to Florida seeking God for what was next.

Through a process of prayer, waiting, trusting, and listening, God made it clear that Sarasota was more than a place of respite for them; it was the location of their next ministry assignment. God has confirmed this call through many friends, mentors, pastors, leaders, and through the SEND Network Assessment Team.

Knowing that many wonderful churches already exist in Sarasota, they grew excited as God gave them a unique vision and focus for a church that would complement the great work of God already being done here. One Life Church in Sarasota helps people discover and grow in Christ through an intentional discipleship process and a focus on mentor relationships within the church and throughout the community.

God has sent an incredible team of godly, talented people to join the LaMoreys in fulfilling the One Life Church vision of helping people make their one life count now and for eternity.
